About My Practice:

Since opening my practice in January of 2013, I have counseled individuals and couples dealing with behavioral concerns, life changes, stress, relationship issues, and mental health concerns. I work with clients to set counseling goals, monitor progress, and achieve change.  Whether the focus of counseling is to overcome struggles with thoughts, feelings and behaviors; facing challenges in work, home, or relationships; or dealing with a life event, my job is to make the counseling process as comfortable and fulfilling as possible.

My practice is located on the southwest side of Fort Wayne, Indiana, in a professional office park. My therapy room is comfortable and the space is designed to feel like a living room.  My schedule for seeing clients is very flexible.  I am able to schedule appointments during business hours as well as in the evenings and over the lunch hour. I am currently taking new clients.

About Me (scroll):

I was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and have lived here most of my life.  I attended Purdue University and graduated in 1999.  After my graduation, I returned to Fort Wayne and began working in the legal field.  Although I gained great experience through my work, I never felt that my career was where my heart was.  I realized that I had always felt the desire to work with people and to be a counselor. After almost a decade in the workforce, I decided to return to graduate school.  I graduated from the University of Saint Francis, with a Master of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2012.  My graduate program included courses in counseling and therapeutic techniques, diagnosis, ethics, human growth and development, play therapy, human sexuality, substance abuse counseling, career counseling, and marriage and family counseling, as well as extensive clinical experience.
